Add your child
Enter basic birth details so the correct growth reference can be used.
For parents and guardians
NeoScan is designed to help you photograph the paper chart, check the measurements, see growth over time, and share a record only when you choose.
Getting started
Enter basic birth details so the correct growth reference can be used.
Place the paper chart in the camera frame. NeoScan is designed to find and straighten it.

See and change which clinic can receive new information.
Child profile
Parents are specified to see and edit only their own children’s records. Birth details stay protected from provider edits.
Understanding the chart
A percentile helps show where one measurement sits compared with the WHO reference for children of the same age and sex. The pattern over time matters more than one point by itself.
If a line moves across two or more major percentile bands, NeoScan is designed to show a clear review flag.
This is not a diagnosis. Ask a qualified healthcare professional to review the chart.
Illustrative data. It does not represent a real child.
No internet?
The app is designed to let you take a photo and add child information while offline.
It stores the scan in an encrypted database on the phone. When the connection comes back, the queue is designed to sync automatically.
It will sync automatically when internet connection returns.
Green Valley Clinic
This clinic will be able to see the growth history and scan images you choose to share.
Sharing and consent
NeoScan is designed to ask for clear consent before sharing. The event is logged with a time, and you can stop future access.
A password-protected PDF report is also specified for sharing with a pediatrician.
Planned immunization view
The functional requirements describe a Kenyan milestone schedule with upcoming, due, completed, overdue, and deferred states. Clinic staff—not parents—record administration details.
Scope note: the SRS also calls immunization tracking out of scope in its summary, so this module requires project scope confirmation.
Parent questions
You can compare it with the paper card and correct it before saving. The correction is recorded.
No. An alert means the growth trend needs a trained person to review it. It is not a diagnosis.
